Technology which allows trades to be completed straight on the interbank market and bypassing brokers is called STP (Straight-through processing). Advantages of this type of technology include fast — practically momentarily — execution of orders, which is extremely important when trading in high volumes and with leverage on the market where prices change every second and even a small delay in the execution of an order could negatively affect equity. Thanks to STP technology, order execution time is reduced by many times.
